Andrew Schulte, Vice President for Recruitment
To all Potential Greek Members:
Hello and welcome to Texas A&M University. This university is filled with activities all around campus and an infinite amount of opportunities to become involved in something with the school. Having said that, I highly encourage you to take part in fraternal life here at Texas A&M. Although only having existed for just over 40 years here at A&M, the members of the Interfraternity Council have worked hard each year in order to provide a Greek experience that rivals that of any other Greek school in the country. Participating in Greek life here at A&M is an experience that cannot be found on any other campus around the country. Greek men may be found throughout several organizations located all over campus from Student Senate to Fish Camp Counselors. The diversity of Greek life is what enables any type of student to find a place within the A&M Greek system. While each fraternity is very unique in its own way, all of the fraternities benefit from the common opportunities that benefit Greek life, from job networking to long lasting friendships.
The recruitment process here at Texas A&M is a non-binding process which can end at any point that a prospective student wishes. Recruitment involves many activities enabling potential members to meet fellow rushees as well as active members in each fraternity. With the social events, road trips, and activities that each fraternity plans for its rushees, the recruitment process serves as an unforgettable experience for anyone who chooses to participate in it.
Once again, we are so fortunate to have you join us here at this wonderful university and we hope that you will take some time to visit around our website. Please note important recruitment dates during the summer session and fall semester, as dates will be added as planned. Please feel free to contact any member of our Interfraternity Council with any questions you may have. Our contact information can be found throughout several pages of the IFC website. We wish you the best during your academic tenure here at Texas A&M University.
Fraternally,
Andrew Schulte
